Forever against animal testing!

In my opinion, experiments on animals are at least unethical and disrespectful. We live in the 21st century and we should have already found other ways to produce self-care products, cosmetics for instance. Even though they’re animals it doesn’t mean that they don’t have the right to live as people do. So, the question that all of us need to ask ourselves is: Do we really care for animals or do we just care about money?

I understand the fact that we need to find ways so as we can test products before people buy them, but I think that we must respect animals as much as we respect people and don’t use them on experiments.

What’s more, if we want to protect animals and nature we need to act accordingly. For instance, new science and technology are making alternatives to animal testing because computers can help us understand what happens inside our body to the things we eat. First, we can use computer models instead of animal experiments and we can use data generated without animals too. Also, we can obtain similar information from fewer animals or more information from the same, which can be achieved through statistical analysis. It’s necessary to heal them in case something happens to them and not just let them die in pain. We can’t call ourselves animal lovers when we use them for our own good and when we use products that someone died before so as we can use them after…

Last but not least, I’d like to mention that, each year, more than 100 million animals—including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters—are killed in U.S. and most of the people have no idea what they are actually using in their body and face.

In conclusion, I believe that there are for sure other ways to produce safe cosmetics and drugs without animal testing. If we really care about them and for people’s health, we can balance this situation without any deaths and dangers at all!
