The largest planet is Jupiter and the smallest planet is Mercury. Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun but it is actually not the hottest planet. Saturn is the sixth planet from our Sun and orbits at a distance of about 1.4 billion kilometers from the Sun. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun, a dusty, cold, desert world with a very thin atmosphere.
