On one of the very first days of the 2024–2025 school year — and, as it turned out, our first and last day together — I met the students of class D1. Since it wasn’t yet clear which classes I would be teaching, I asked them to draw anything they loved or imagined about English. They filled their pages with colourful ABC letters, storybook characters, favourite words and scenes from songs and games.
These drawings are the only keepsakes I have from our short time together — a creative and joyful moment that I’m happy to share!
