As we were listening to these songs, we were inspired to create two pictures which show exactly how we feel. We stand united in love, acceptance and dignity.

The students of the 5th-6th class proudly present our comic on war and peace. We are really worried about the difficult conditions a child must face during war. What is important in life? Why do people have to suffer? We tried to depict our thoughts on paper using our creativity. We worked in teams (sketching team/painting team/writers team) with respect for each other. The message can only be one: We say no to war, yes to love, respect and peace.

The students of C and D class after a vivid discussion decided to create two informative posters in English since they live on an island that a lot of people from all over the world visit. They agreed on creating digital posters appropriate for a digital magazine. They used a digital tool which is very easy to use and which allows cooperation, team work and decision-making. Split in teams they had to take certain decisions in order for the message to be properly conveyed. There was a team responsible for the choice of the pictures,  a second team responsible for the type of font and colours of the text and a third team responsible to decide on and type the message for each of the two posters. During the final stage the students had to give general approval of these creations. The children were enthusiastic during the process and apart from the creativity and the team work, the digital tool used promoted the knowledge of issues very important in the digital era, such as the use of pictures under the licence Creative Commons. Moreover, it was free to use and it did not require creating an account.
