THE FIRST MATCH OF THIS YEAR’S WORLD CUP

This match was between Qatar and Ecuador with the final score being 0-2 and, as expected, Ecuador won. (It should have been 0-3 but the first goal was an offside).

THE FIRST GOAL:

It was what Qatar’s goalkeeper got after trying to pull Ecuador’s leader back. That mistake turned out to be a penalty that led to Ecuador’s first goal.

THE SECOND GOAL:

E. Valencia, the leader of Ecuador, puts an end to Qatar’s hopes of winning with his head.He sent the ball in the net making the score 0-2 and giving the win to his team.

SPAIN – COSTA RICA 0-7

In this match, we saw Spain dimolishing Costa Ricawith a total of 7 goals after extra time ans a total of 1045 passes. However, many people say that Navas, the goalkeeper, can’t catch any shoot. The truth is though that Navas is the best player of his team because 10 players didn’t score any goals and they also didin’t play defence. So Costa Rica nice try and better luck next time!

SATURDAY 3rd DECEMBER 2022

ROUNDS OF 16 ARGENTINA – AUSTALIA 2-1

The second match in the Rounds of 16. It took some time but Argentina scored its first goal. After that, they scored a second goal. A little before the match ended, Australia scored a goal but it was pointless. Argentina had already won and they moved on to the Round of 8.

To start off, to be in the final  Argentina beat Croatia and France beat Morocco. So the match starts and at the 35th minute Messi scores a penalty. After that Di Maria scores a goal from De Paul’s assist.  Argentina wins 0-2 but Mbappe scores 2 GOALS IN 1 MINUTE. The match goes 2-3 at extra time and then 3-3. The game is a tie and it goes to penalties where Argentina wins her 3rd World Cup with 4-2. At the end Lionel Messi, Argentina’s leader,  rises his first but last world cup trophy.
