The second mobility of the project “Protect Your Nature, Protect Your Future” will take place in the city of Isparta, Türkiye, from 25 to 29 November 2024, and will involve students and teachers from the participating partner schools.
Six students and two teachers from our school will take part in the mobility, together with delegations from Latvia and Türkiye.
The activities of the week have been designed to strengthen intercultural collaboration, inclusion, and the connection between environmental education and real-world practice.
The programme includes:
Workshops and group activities on climate change and sustainable development.
Tree planting in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Forestry in Isparta, enabling students to actively contribute to the protection of the natural environment.
Educational visit to Antalya, where students will study the impacts of climate change on urban and coastal ecosystems.
Visit to the Municipality and local recycling facilities to learn about good waste-management practices.
Visit to a kindergarten that implements environmental education programmes from early childhood.
Visit to Kimo Textile Factory, which uses renewable energy sources and sustainable production methods.
Creative workshop using the “Six Thinking Hats” method, in which students and teachers will design family- and school-based actions to reduce their environmental footprint.
