Olly Murs is a famous British R&B singer. But “Olly Murs” isn’t his real name. His real name is Oliver Stanley. He was born in England on the 14.May. Now he is 28 and 1,75m high.He became famous through the British tv show X-Factor.

Olly Mursgrew up in Witham and was one of three children in his family. When he was a teenager he went to the Notty High and was the striker of the school football team. Later Olly played half professional for Witham Town. After he has completed his school leaving certificate he became energy consultant. Then in 2009 he enrolled himself to X-Factor and proved the 2 place. After that Olly Murs went on tour with X-Factor and in 2010 the firms “Epic records” and “Syco Music” contacted him.

In German-speaking room he had only became famous with his second album “In case you didn’t know” and especially with his single “Heart skips a beat”, which became the first place on the German single charts at the 6. April. His first album ”Olly Murs” came out on the 11. November and it wasn’t so well-know in Germany but his single “Troublemaker” from latest album “Right place, right time” is is very popular and on the 9th place of the German single charts right now.
