The ancient city of Machu Picchu is located in southern Peru and is a sample of Ιnca culture, which was badly lost. It is located at an altitude of 2,350 meters. It joined Unesco in 1981.In recent years repairs have been made because of the risk of soil erosion and plant destruction.

Water pollution has become a big problem in many countries all over the world.

Water is very important for our lives, but if this water become polluted, it will be very dangerous for the people and the animals ,too.

We pollute the sea, the beaches, the rivers.

Factory waste is thrown in the seas and rivers.

Tourists litter the beaches

I believe that the state must start to clean up those areas, to minimize the problem.Together we can take actions to reduce water pollution and improve water quality.

Finally is much better to prevent, than to clean up.

Patagonia is an area in the south of Argentina and Chile.This area is protected by UNESCOTwo years ago there was a big disaster as 40,000 tons of oil froma ship fell into the sea and destroyed it.Another problem is melting ice because of raise in temperature.As a result there often heavy rains, droughts, heat waves and floods.

The great barrier reef is in North -East coast of Australia. It is an important monument of the sea because it is so beautiful and hosts many fish. It is the largest coral reef system in our planet But there are some things that harm corals. One of them is that the temperature of Earth and oceans is rising. This causes coral bleaching which means that corals lose their colors and start dying. Between 2016 and 2017 ,almost 50% of the corals died

Protect the animals

Climate change affects the animals of our planet. The high temperatures, the sea level that is going up and we, the people, who do nothing to make the situation better, endanger the fauna. People destroy animals’ habitat by fires, cutting down trees and also by littering.

Composting is a highly environmentally friendly process with excellent results in terms of nourishing plants at home.

It is a process in which organic elements such as leaves, grass, branches, peels and other food residues (e.g. egg shells, fruit skins) that we have in our kitchen and garden are transformed through various processes and with the help of soil microorganisms into a nutrient-rich substance called compost.
