ERASMUS PROJECT KA229- I’m safe at school
This is an Erasmus project in which we have been participating, representing Greece, since 2018. The other member countries are : Romania, Poland, England, Italy and Turkey.
The aim of this project is to fight against any form of bullying( verbal, physical,psychological,prejudicial, sexual, cyberbullying) by informing our students, creating anti-bullying groups in our schools , exchanging and sharing techniques, carrying out and sharing anti-bullying activities and by creating a website and a webpage to share our activities and experience with the whole world.
Our project motto is: YOU’RE NOT ALONE . We have also created a project logo which we have been using in all of our activities and actions.
I should mention there have already been several actions carried out in each participant country such as informative talks by experts adressing students , parents , teachers concerning safe Internet use, the creation of an anti-bullying spot , television programmes about our project;s course in Romania, newspaperand web articles in all member countries, an antibullying poster,the creation of a shoth video message in sign language , a long collection of anti-bullying poems by our students , a travelling story to be published which was written by all member countries in turn.All of the above mentioned will be disseminated and shared by the completion of the project.
What I would like to point out is that the Erasmus experience has been wonderful and has offered many members of our schools” communities to benefit from it. Our cooperation has been excellent since team work is known to be dream work! The cultural exchange between teachers and students while travelling abroad has beeen fruitful and could easily be characterised as a unique experience .
