Robinson Crusoe

Robinson Crusoe is my favourite book. It is an adventurous and action story. It is written by Daniel Defoe and it is for every age. The book was published in 1719.

Robinson is a sailor and as the story goes he starts a trip from England to America. Before they reach America, the boat sinks. All its crew drowned but Crusoe is alive and swims to the nearest island. He stays there for 18 years. Through these years, he has been eating mainly fish and also fruits and vegetables, meat and eggs. He builds a house to survive these hard living conditions. In the 11th year, a poor man visits the island and was forced to live with him.
In the 17th year, a ship of pirates docks on the island. It is the worst thing happening through these years. Luckily, the two men survive from the pirates. The following year is the best of all because a ship spots them on the island and helps them to get back to their homelands.
I like very much action and adventurous books but I pick this one because when I read it, it makes me feel stronger and happier. I like very much this book and I want to read it again!
