Blind education accessibility

Blind individuals have the right to receive an education that is comparable to that of their sighted peers. This includes access to adaptive technology and the services of trained professionals, such as teachers of the visually impaired. Many schools have programs specifically designed for blind students and can make accommodations, such as providing Braille materials and large print textbooks, to ensure that they have equal access to the curriculum. Additionally, blind students may also be eligible for additional support and services, such as special transportation or assistance with mobility.
