Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential scientists of all time.
He is best known for developing the theory of relativity, one of the most important ideas in modern physics. Einstein also received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his explanation of the photoelectric effect.
His work changed the way people understand space, time, light and energy. Even today, Albert Einstein remains a symbol of intelligence, curiosity and scientific discovery.
