The most famous sport in the world is football. This sport was invented in Engand in the 19th century and in the following years it started in other countries like Brazil, Spain, Argentina and Germany. In Uruguay, in 1930′s  the World Cup was invented. It is a football competition where 32 countries al all around the world play against each other for the cup. And the first nation, that won it, was Uruguay. Football has many legend players like Messi, Ronado, Neymar, Mbappe and also some old legends like Van Basten, Nedved, Del Piero, Maldini, Ronaldinhio, Ronaldo Nazario, Cruyff, Zico, Maradona and the kimg Pele. Pele or Edson Arantes do Nascimento was born in 23 October 1940 in Três Corações in Brazil and he was called «o rey»  because in his career he won 7 trophies (including 3 World Cups) and he scored 1279 goals. 

One interesting fact about football is the World cup that Messi won in 2022 with his national  team of Argentina. They beat France on penalty shotout in the final and this was the best World cup  ever. Also, there are many leagues in football like Premer League, La liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A and many others the best teams of which compete in many competitions like Champions League, Europa League and Conference League the trying to win the title just like Real Madrid that won 14 champions league trophies.
