World Read Aloud Day

read-aloud-day

Well, we all know that February 5th is an international  read aloud day. World Read Aloud Day is celebrated on the first Wednesday in February and takes place on February 5 this year. So why is reading aloud important and how does it help humans?

In 2010 we  celebrated the power of reading aloud to create community, encourage the sharing of stories and support literacy as a foundational human right. So we can say that  reading aloud is one of the most powerful tools that we have. When we read aloud with others, we are not just rallying our literacy skills and bear communities together. We are also creating culture and  confidence!

Since I’m writing about reading, I wiil take t opportunity to describe  my favorite book which I Ihave already read and I feel that it’s ideal for our age (we’re teenagers!) and of course I fully recommend  it to you if you like scary stories! So the book is called Twilight and it was written by Stephenie Meyer. Actually, Twilight is a series of four fantasy romance novels. The book is about a young woman who moved to the city Forks and her life started to become scary and complicated when she  met a man. She had to do impossible things for him and  she felt that she was  putting her life in danger for their love! Thats all! I really hope you read  it if  you are interested in a traumatic story:)
