How to cope with «the winter blues»

Demotivation, tiredness, anxiety, cold or even seasonal depression are some of the symptoms that conclude the season of winter for many people. Despite winter having its lovers no one can deny that the feeling of warmth or the salt air are missed. It goes without saying that as winter approaches the notorious «winter blues» do too. The following paragraphs will provide the reader with ways to cope with the blues while being productive.

1. take up a new hobby.

Having a hobby can stimulate your mind and broaden your horizons.

2. stay in touch with friends and family.

The people we are surrounded by are the ones that we celebrate the good times with and provide support during the bad ones. Also, there’s trust which is incredibly important in human relationships.

3. take time for yourself.

No matter how hard it gets, never let trivious problems change the way you think. A beneficial solution is meditating or journaling. Keep your goals organized, write down random things you like, you could also use it as a diary.
