Steps to Success
1.We look around at the school yard to predict the warmest and the cooler materials
2. We choose to study the following materials : wood (brown/green), soil, grass, concrete, metal, marble.
3.The measurements took place in shade and in sun
4.Each group use an IR thermometers and a student sheet to write down 5 measurements.
5.Then students calculate the average of the temperature measurements.
6.They made the comparative diagrams
7.Discussion about their findings
