Our world is being shocked by many events. As a result, governments have established some days during which every person in our planet can become aware of them, think about them and try to deal with them. One of these days is the World Day against school bullying. This day is on 6th March every year. It was established by the Boards of Education in 2012.

This day is an opportunity for teachers, students and parents to exchange thoughts, information and ideas in order to prevent and deal with the violence among students at schools. On this day psychologists visit schools not only to inform students about bullying but also to help them if they have a problem. They might also give them some leaflets about this issue so as to give them to their parents.

There are a lot of types of bullying. However, the one that has been developed the most during the last few years is cyberbullying due to the rise of social media. As a result, educators teach students about cyber security. This usually happens at the computer lab by showing them videos about this situation.

All in all, bullying is an important issue. Unfortunately as years go by it’s becoming a greater problem and that’s why there is the need for a world day about it. Let’s hope that some day there won;t be the need to have such a Day.
