What to see when you visit Romania

Romania is a country at southeast Europe, known for the region of Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains.

If you ever want to visit Romania, there are some places which you surely must not miss!

At first, you must visit the large Parliament in Bucharest, which constitutes the second largest administrative building in the world. It has more than 3.000 rooms and it is very nicely lit at night!

Another place you should visit is the famous Salina Turda salt mine. You go deep in the earth and there are a lot of things to do in there, such as a boat ride at the lake.

You can also visit the Peles castle and the Dracula castle. I liked more the Peles castle, because you can see many beautiful objects, as is the crown of Carol I, many weapons, swords and armors.

The Ice Hotel located near the city of Sibiu will fascinate you! You can only visit it at winter, because it melts during the warm months and every year they built it from the beginning.

A very funny place to visit is the Upside House, also located near Sibiu. It is a house where everything is upside, so you walk on the ceiling! Your children will love it!

You can walk at the town squares of Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu, Bucharest and Timisoara and of many other towns as well. Every town has its own beauty and history. I liked Sighisoara the best, because of its beautiful medieval buildings.

Romania is a country that you will love and never forget!
