Blackbird

by Sofia Hyseni

Black bird, high and free

Drifting soft above the sea

Wings so dark,eyes so bright

Lost within the silver light.

Oh  black bird, sing so true

Carry dreams the sky once knew

Lovely winds call your name

Still you fly,wild and brave

Shadow dancing on the ground

Softest song the sweetest sand.

Oh  black bird, sing so true

Carry dreams the sky once knew

Fade away with morning’s light

Black bird lost in endless night.

Blackbird

by Arian CaKalli and Mixalis Trigonis

A black bird sings in the quiet night

His wings are dark, but full of light.

He tries to fly, but it’s very cold.

And doors stay closed, the world feels old.

The night is long, the road is wide,

But there’s a hope, still deep inside.

One day the sky will call his name.

And he will fly, free from pain.

Blackbird sings alone

by Marilia Hotza

Blackbird sings in the quiet night.

Moon is glowing, stars shine bright.

No one answers, no one near.

Still your song is loud and clear.

Sing, blackbird, sing your song

Even when the night feels long

Soft and sweet, high and low,

Let your lonely music flow.

Sun will rise, the dark will fade

Still your song will never change

One day soon, you won’t be lone,

Someone else will sing along.

Sing, blackbird, sing your song

Even when the night feels long

Soft and sweet, high and low,

Let your lonely music flow.
