PRESS RELEASE Educational Contest ENTREDU 2015 «Student Innovative Business Ideas»

Student enterprises, innovative ideas related to entrepreneurship were presented at the Congress of Entredu 2015 that was held on 8 and 09/05/2015 in the Natural History Museum of Crete.

At the conference, the following themes were presented:

• present and future trends in innovation, entrepreneurship and employment.
• European initiatives to support teachers and students in positive attitudes of culture issues, knowledge and skills for youth entrepreneurship, in projects like: ENTREDU, Greenet, Quantum Spinoff, Play4Guidance, ENTERPRISE+.
• European best practices, digital learning resources and educational activities in the field of entrepreneurship education.
• Innovation and entrepreneurship in schools – presentation of best practices and innovative activities by teachers.
• “From school to the real world of the economy and entrepreneurship» – Opinions from teachers and young entrepreneurs.

The conference was organized within the European project ENTREDU and supported by Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit (ΜΟΚΕ) and the Employment and Career Structure (ΔΑΣΤΑ), University of Crete.

Under the Competition Entredu 2015, the following three (3) student enterprises were distinguished with their innovative ideas:

10th Low Secondary Education School of Ilion:  Student Social Enterprise titled:»With Other Eyes

6th Low Secondary Education School of Nea Ionia:«Web Advertising School Company (WASC)»

2nd Vocational School of Maroussi: 2ο ΕΠΑΛ Αμαρουσίου: «Soap & Surprise (S &S)»
