Be silent and listen

Silence speaks volumes worldwide. In Asia waiting is polite, Americans and Eastern Europeans rush to fill the gap, Africans enjoy intimacy without words.

Rumi, a Persian poet, said, “Listen to the silence. It has so much to say”.

This is our poem about Silence.

Together in Silence.

In silence we can share the words we don’t know.

In silence we can share the sob of every pain.

In silence we can breathe the same air.

In the silence we feel the morning dip of the sun.

In the silence we can hear the music of smiling faces.

In silence we can share the first steps of a toddler.

In silence we can trust the opening of our hearts.

In silence we can weave tomorrow. Together.
