1 May!

Χωρίς τίτλο
The month of May took its name from Maia, who according to Greek mythology
was one of the Pleiades and the mother of the god Hermes.

According to another version, the origin of the name is attributed to the Roman
deity Maya who was the wife of Hephaestus.

May has always been a month associated with the beginning of summer and
the fertile and blooming land. That's why people used to celebrate the beginning of
the month in different ways since ancient times.
Every year on May Day many people head out into the countryside to "catch May".

So people find themselves, even for a while, close to nature again,
away from the cement and the intense rhythms of the city.
