Do We All Live In The Same World?
A child is running through the camp,
Without knowing they have lost their land.
The other kids know about education,
But he only knows about persecution.
They leave the camp, there’s no other way,
They are becoming victims of smuggling and pain.
The smuggler sold his whole family for money,
And his situation will never be funny.
They have no protection; they are waiting for salvation.
His parents told him there’s still hope,
But deep in his heart he knows
That tomorrow will not come.
Now the child is not running
His legs are broken, and they are hurting.
But more than the trafficking, the pain, and the loss of his home,
It is his childish soul
That hurts the most.
