Tinos island, by Eleftheria

Tinos is an island of the Aegean Sea belonging to the Cyclades. You can go by boat from Piraeus and its nearby islands with population 8,636 of 62 settlements.

The winter is mild, and summer is cool and windy. It has a lot of tourism in the summer with excellent beaches and several accommodations. It is famous for its good food and its picturesque villages.

It is known for the Virgin Mary of Tinos. Thousands of believers come to the Holy side of the island every August 15th for the miraculous icon.

There is also the rock in Exombourgo that stands out on the whole island for climbing and also the granite rocks of Volax in Kolympithra for diving.
