Against All Odds: Robert Kubica

 robert_kubica There aren’t any F1 drives that survived a horrific car crash and still returned to competitive driving but Robert Kubica who embodies the spirit of sport in many aspects. He is the example of mental resilience in sports. His story is often mentioned as one of the greatest sports rehabilitations of the 21st century.  You probably heard about the accident of Robert Kubica in 6th February 2011 in Skoda Fabia s2000 in Italy in which he broke 42 bones and also lost around 75% of his blood. It was believed he wouldn’t return to Formula one. But just 7 years after the crash he returned as a reserve driver for the Williams Team, and just a year later as a driver. In the same year he won 100% points for Williams.

He has achieved success in many motorsport disciplines, which shows his versatility and ability to exceed his own limits. It’s shocking how good he still is, it can be seen in the legendary race of 24h Le Mans in 2025 he won for the AF Corse team as the first Polish driver in history. Robert Kubica’s achievements have popularized Formula 1 and car racing  among young people and made Poland more recognizable in global motorsport.

The example of Robert Kubica shows the passion as a powerful driving force which helps to overcome your own limitations. He is also held in high esteem by other world-famous racing drivers not to mention people in hardships inspired not to give up.
