The secret of king Leonidas

The secret of king Leonidas is my favorite book because I like the Sparta wars and its content.

Ancient Greece, 30 BC The Persians, before attacking Sparta, send ambassadors demanding its neutrality. At the same time the twelve-year-old Pleistarchus, son of King Leonidas, has left his family and is training in a camp of ancient Sparta, like all young Spartans. Some people try to kill him there, but Pleistarchus manages to escape and with his cousin, Agathocles, they try to find the killers.

Things get difficult when the second king of Sparta, Leotychidas, arrests and imprisons Leonidas, who wants to fight the enemy at the gates of Thermo. The two children and their company from the camp take action. The fate of the homeland is in their hands.
