KidsinClassRoom (1)Primary school is the school for children between 6 and 10 years old. There are 5 different classes, in other words, it means that children spend 5 years in primary school. This is the first part of the children’s schooling.

The schedules are more flexible than the Junior High School’s: they start their school days at 9a.m, they have 2 hours to eat at noon, and they finish at 3.30p.m or 4.30p.m, depending on the school. They work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays all day long, and Wednesdays in the morning, between 9 and 12.

At this level, they learn to read and to write, they learn how to live together, the basics of education and culture in History, Geography, Math, Science, French and a little bit of English to be ready for the Junior High School. They do more creative activities to open up their minds, to learn in a fun way.

Most of the time, they keep the same teachers all these years in every lesson, which is different from the Junior High School where they change teacher for every lesson.
