On 28 April 2024, the first online meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Protect Your Nature, Protect Your Future” took place. Teachers and representatives from the participating countries—Greece, Germany, Türkiye and Latvia—joined the meeting to coordinate actions and exchange ideas on sustainable development, environmental awareness and climate action.
Main Discussion Topics:
• Presentation of the project and its objectives.
• Collaboration among partner schools to promote environmental education.
• Planning of future activities and student/teacher exchanges.
• Introduction to the concept of bioclimatic education and the innovative use of weather data.
Outcome of the Meeting:
The partners agreed on a joint action plan for upcoming activities and the organisation of workshops focusing on reducing the environmental footprint in schools and the local community.
