Erasmus Presentation – May 2025

An Unforgettable Evening!

The presentation event of the Erasmus+ programme “Protect Your Nature, Protect Your Future” and the school-twinning project at the 1st Gymnasio of Rafina was a true celebration of experience, creativity and community!

The evening opened with an overview of the project’s progress by the coordinating teacher and continued with an impressive live presentation by more than 50 students, who worked passionately, enthusiastically and creatively to bring the event to life.

The event hall was filled with parents, students and teachers who joyfully watched the outstanding work of the children.

Our students showcased their talents in every field:
science, robotics, dance, singing, piano, painting, video creation, inventiveness and teamwork.
They spoke with confidence about what they gained from the programme:
public-speaking skills, improved English, exposure to different cultures, empathy, cooperation, a deeper European identity, environmental awareness, and much more.

A particularly touching moment was the unexpected video messages sent by our partner schools abroad, expressing their love and warm greetings to Greece!

The evening concluded with a lively celebration inside the school — parents, students and teachers all together — with music, treats and dancing, accompanied by a science corner and a poster exhibition.

At the end of the event, certificates of participation were awarded to the students who took part in the Erasmus mobility week hosted in Rafina from 4 to 9 May 2025.

Erasmus+ lives on in every experience, every creation and every friendship we built!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our students for their exceptional cooperation throughout this year’s European programmes; to their parents for their trust and support; to the dedicated pedagogical team of the project for their consistent and thoughtful work; to all the teachers of the 1st Gymnasio of Rafina who embraced the initiative; and to our remarkable partner schools from abroad for their invaluable collaboration.

In the coming days, the website will feature the research and bibliographic projects completed by the students and teachers of all participating schools, aligned with the themes of our programme
