The Flower of Remembrance – a monument to commemorate the Uprising against the communist regime in 1956.The history consecrated that place, where the Flower of remembrance honour the victims of 1956. After hearing about the revolution the residents of Bicske gathered at this place on St. Steven Road. On the 50th anniversary Pál Gyulavári’s sculpture was placed here, where the national flag commemorated the event before the sculpture. The monument is made of marble as a symbol of a bud to remind us of the evolving freedom. On its support the sculptor carved these words: “ a nation said it was enough.”
