- The Old Port
- The White Tower
Thessaloniki is the co-capital of Greece and the perfect destination for a holiday break and for the people who love shopping and night life.
There are many beautiful places where you can go and have a nice time and as a tourist you can do a lot of things concerning entertainment. Locals enjoy going out with their friends, day and night. There are many places you can visit, dance and drink , listen to music and have the time of your life. You can go to one of the many cinemas or theaters or to fancy restaurants , but if you want a place even more crowded and fun you can go clubbing and dancing until dawn.
Night life here is full of energy, every night you can choose among trendy cocktail clubs to rock clubs and from those with live modern music to the ones with folk. After a long walk, you can stroll along the seafront to explore another sight of the city and watch the picturesque Old Port with lots of young people crammed together as it is their favourite meeting point.
One of the most popular destinations is The White Tower, the landmark of our city, the small pebbled streets of the traditional Old Town and , also, in the eastern entrance of the city the big mall » Mediterranian Cosmos» where people can find every kind of shops from restaurants or well known clothes shops to cafe-bars and cinemas. Right opposite is the big Amusement Park with lots of games and rides where one can spend another pleasant evening ,too!
There are plenty of cultural events such as the Film Festival , Demetria October Festival , Documentary Film Festival etc. Yet, if you are a teenager like us ,I suggest you to go to the “Thessaloniki International Trade Fair“ in September and our whole city comes in the spotlight.
All in all, you should know that Thessaloniki is indeed »a city that never sleeps». So if you ever visit Thessaloniki, you shouldn’t miss the chance to get to know the night life here.
It is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
