Pegasus

Pegasus is a winged horse in Greek Mythology, usually depicted as a white stallion. It was sired by the Gorgon Medusa. Pegasus was the brother of Chrysaor, both born from Medusa’s blood when their mother was decapitated by Perseus!

Griffin/Gryphon

The Griffin is a mythical beast from Greek and Eurasian lore (Egypt/Persi/Greece) with a lion’s body, eagle’s head and wings, guarding treasure or an American folkore beast with legs on one side longer than the other for hillsides. Combines the King of Beasts (lion) and King of Air (eagle), representing strength, courage, wealth and divine power.
