Once upon a time, as they say in fairy tales, in a town in England, Mr. Scrooge lived in misery. He loved money very much and that’s why all he did in his life was working. One Christmas Eve, an old friend of him appeared to him who had come from hell. He explained to him that if he continued to love money in his life, he would end up like him…in hell! He also told him that 3 spirits would visit him during the night. One would tell him about the Past, the other about the Present and the last about the Future. When he left, Scrooge didn’t pay much attention to his words, but after a while the truth became clear.

The first spirit appeared. He took him back, many years ago, when Scrooge was still young and reminded him of the old times he was hurt as a child and abandoned by his father. Only his sister visited him and loved him very much. Later, the spirit of the past left and Scrooge tried to go to sleep lying in his bed.

The second spirit came but he didn’t take him very far. They went to the house of his employee, who was working on his business. He saw all the family sitting on the table and eating the Christmas turkey. They looked so happy!

When he returned to his bedroom, the last spirit appeared. He took him to a strange and very dark place. He saw his grave and no one crying for him. Suddenly, he woke up and realized that he was alive.

He ordered a big turkey and asked to be sent to his employee and he visited his nephew and enjoyed the Christmas dinner with him, his wife and friends.

He was so happy, became kind hearted and died many many years later.
