The “Low Paper – Low Waste School Manual” was developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Protect Your Nature, Protect Your Future”, based on the ideas and proposals of students who participated in the Erasmus Week in Rafina, Greece. This handbook provides practical steps and recommendations for transforming schools into environmentally responsible and resource-efficient learning communities. It promotes sustainable practices such as reducing paper consumption, minimizing waste, and encouraging digital and circular solutions in everyday school life. By combining student creativity with experiential learning, the manual serves as both a policy guide and educational tool, inspiring teachers and students to adopt greener habits and to make environmental sustainability an integral part of school culture.
This methodological handbook was developed by Aizupes Pamatskola in Latvia as part of the Erasmus+ KA210 project “Protect your Nature, Protect your Future.” It provides a collection of ten learning activities for students aged 12–16, focusing on recycling, biodiversity, creative reuse, and outdoor education. The material includes step-by-step instructions, photos, and a vocabulary list of environmental terms, supporting teachers in integrating sustainability into classroom practice. It promotes the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), environmental literacy, and European cooperation in eco-education.
