Citius, Altius. Fortius. (Πιο γρήγορα, πιο ψηλά, πιο δυνατά)
Ο αθλητισμός συμβάλλει στην καθολική ανάπτυξη του ανθρώπου: αναπτύσσει αρμονικά το σώμα, καλλιεργεί το πνεύμα, εμπλουτίζει το συναίσθημα, ενδυναμώνει την ψυχή, κοινωνικοποιεί, επικοινωνεί οικουμενικές και πανανθρώπινες αξίες. Στο πλαίσιο του αφιερώματος για τον αθλητισμό, οι μαθήτριες και μέλη του ομίλου μας, Δαμιανάκη Αντωνία & Σκαλιδάκη Κωνσταντίνα, σε συνεργασία με τον εξωτερικό συνεργάτη της εφημερίδας μας Μερσυνιά Στέλιο ανέλαβαν την παρουσίαση σημαντικών αθλημάτων με πλούσιο φωτογραφικό υλικό από αθλητικές εκδηλώσεις του Σχολείου μας και τη συμμετοχή των ομάδων μας σε σχολικούς αγώνες, την παράθεση σημαντικών αποφθεγμάτων επιδραστικών αθλητών και αθλητριών καθώς και μια ενδιαφέρουσα συνέντευξη από τον καθηγητή Φυσικής Αγωγής, κ. Σπυριδάκη Ευάγγελο. Φωτογραφικό υλικό μας παραχώρησε και ο καθηγητής Φυσικής Αγωγής, κ. Μπάτσος Χριστόφορος.
Ευχαριστούμε θερμά και τους δύο καθηγητές Φυσικής Αγωγής του Σχολείου μας για τη συνδρομή τους στη συγγραφή αυτού του αφιερώματος.
