The High School of Keramoti is located in the seaside village of Keramoti of the municipality of Kavala.It was founded in 1992 and it is located on the ring road of the village. It has a ground floor, two floors and a large playground.About 120 students attend the school in the school year 2015-2016.Students have classes in the computer lab, the Foreign Languages classroom, the Technology classroom, the Chemistry and Biology laboratories and in the Arts classroom. Keramoti is 40 km away from the city of Kavala and 52 km away from the city of Xanthi.In Keramoti there is the port from which ferry-boats depart  to the port of Limenas, Thassos daily. In the summer Keramoti is full of tourists who either have their own cottages or rent rooms at the available apartments and hotels.
