Delphi

One of the most important monuments of Delphi is the Temple of Apollo. People went to the oracle of Delphi and Pythia and told them oracles. The temple was destroyed twice. It was rebuilt in 330 BC by the architects Spintharos the Corinthian, the Xenodorus and the Agathon.

The cave of Perama in Ioannina

PERAMA IOANNINA

It is located at Perama, Ioannina area, very close to the city. It is one of the most famous caves in GREECE.

Kalamata

KALAMATA

You can come to Kalamata and enjoy swimming in the sea. You can eat olives and food cooked with the famous Kalamatan olive oil. You will also have fun at the International Dance festival there.

Kastoria

Some attractions in Kastoria are well known such as The Dragon’s Cave

And the Orestiada Lake. The Dragon’s Cave is so beautiful because you enter a splendid spleen that has stalagmites and stalactites. The Orestiada  lake is home to a 200 different species, among them ,some rare and some endangered. There are other activities that you can do in Kastoria. Some of them are horseback riding and canoeing.

Santorini

SANTORINI

There are lots of things you can do on the island of Santorini. You can visit some wonderful beaches, such as Akrotiti and the Black Beach, which got its name from the remains of the Volcano. You can taste the delicious cuisine with sea food and drink great wines. You can enjoy the night life in various clubs. You can do water sports, like scuba diving.

You can visit the Volcanic island and see the only active Volcano in Greece.

Thessaloniki

THESSALONIKI

Thessaloniki  is the second largest city in Greece. It is a significant  business and cultural centre  in  South eastern Europe. It hosts the International Trade Exhibition every year. You can visit the White Tower, the birth place of Aristoteles, Stagira and swim at the magnificent beaches of Halkidiki.

Most people in Thessaloniki are traders or work in the food  and tourism  industries. There are also jobs in the cruise business and shipping.

Vergina

BERGINA

It is a small town in the North of Greece where the palace of king Phillip II was located. The Museum of Royal Tombs in the ancient necropolis of Aigai. Aigai is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.  In the tomb, you can see the golden larnaca with the Macedonian star on top, containing the bones of King Philip II and the golden wreath the dead man wore. There are a lot of activities to do in Vergina like visit the Archaeological Site of Aigai and the Tomb of Philip II or the tomb of Persephone. What about the Adventure Park? There  are activities such as climbing trees, huge and tall slides , passing though wooden tunnels and walking on ropes.

Pella

PELLA

Pella is the birthplace of Alexander the Great.

Pella is a beautiful place where you can see and do many things. You can visit the famous historical museum of Pella. Also, you can have a walk in the center of town and visit some shops and buy Greek souvenirs. Life in Pella is quiet and peaceful and people are very friendly. During your stay at Pella you can feel at home!

Milos

MILOS

Milos has the shape of a horseshoe.

The Castle was built in the 13th century on the hill of Prophitis Elias. Visitors can  admire a view of incomparable beauty of the entire island bay and of the magic sunset that is worth enjoying when you decide to climb all the way to the top.

Children in the island of Milos learn folk dances and traditional musical instruments.  During the summer when the weather is nice, they go fishing and scuba diving.  They spend a lot of time on the beach.  When the weather is windy, the children do windsurfing and have fun.

Meteora

On Meteora there are many  monasteries where monks live.

The sights on Meteora are the huge rocks. The view is impressive. Lots of visitors come to see them.You can go hiking in the caves of Meteora. You can do rafting in the river of Kalambaka. You can visit the Monasteries. You can go climbing on the big cliffs of Meteora.
