In its annual apparent motion around the earth, the sun passes though all twelve signs in succession and takes about a month to pass through each of them. Depending on the sign in which the Sun was at the time of a person’s birth, astrology scholar classify the person into a sign. For example, if someone was born in early October, when the Sun is in the sign of Libra, then they “are” Libra.
