Dia de los muertos or the day of the death is a traditional celebration for Mexico. On November the 1^st and 2^nd people thinking that dead people’s souls or spirits return from the death and join the family

That’s a traditional altar that a family made  to honor her dead. A traditional altar usually includes: marigolds, a picture of the dead people, candles, cut paper, skulls, sweet bread and some water.

Those are some sugar skulls which children call them carlitos and catrina and exchange them. Sugar skulls are offered during the celebrations and are used to decorate altars.
